Daniel A. Bergman, Esq. 

Mr. Bergman is the principal of Bergman Law Group, having practiced since 1977, a period of 45 years. He is “AV” rated by Martindale Hubbell. Mr. Bergman’s vast experience has encompassed all areas of family law matters and has been successful in civil litigation as well. Mr. Bergman has also been involved in business transactions. In particular, Mr. Bergman has successfully representing many clients through their dissolution proceedings and parentage actions.  Mr. Bergman also has prepared numerous premarital agreements designed to save clients substantial monies in case of a subsequent dissolution of marriage. Mr. Bergman’s primary concern has always been the client, believing it to be his personal and professional commitment and moral and mandatory obligation to provide the best possible legal services to the firm’s clients.

He has given back to the law profession as the former chairperson of the Family Law Section of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (SFVBA) and a former trustee of SFVBA. On behalf of SFVBA, Mr. Bergman was also responsible for setting up the Judge Pro Tempore Program and family law mediation programs in the Northwest and North Valley Superior Court Districts over 30 years ago. Mr. Bergman has also sat as an Arbitration Chairperson for the Los Angeles County Bar Association/Attorney Fee Dispute Program in excess of 80 times, has been appointed to act as a Superior Court Arbitrator in civil cases, and has been appointed to act as a referee by the Court and to represent minor children.

Mr. Bergman, who is an alumnus of UCLA and has supported that school’s fund-raising and sports programs, has a particular love for golf, which is readily apparent once you visit our office.  He loves to travel to golf locations with his wife. Elizabeth, who is also an avid golfer. 

Linda F. Lydon, Esq

Linda F. Lydon graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science / Business prior to attending and receiving her Juris Doctorate Degree from Southwestern University School of Law’s distinguished SCALE program.

Ms. Lydon was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998 and immediately established her own practice focusing exclusively on Family Law. Thereafter Ms. Lydon established Of Counsel relationships with select high-profile Family Law firms in Beverly Hills and Century City, where she worked on numerous complex, high asset cases.

In addition, Ms. Lydon has acted as Mediator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court (Family Law), and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Nancy Janneth Lopez, Jr. Paralegal 

Mrs. Lopez obtained her AA Paralegal Degree, with honors, 15 years ago and has been working with Bergman Law Group ever since. During her time with Bergman Law Group, she has acquired a vast knowledge of family law and court guidelines.

Nancy is the assistant and legal secretary to the firm’s Attorneys and is the first voice you hear when calling Bergman Law Group. She treats our clients with courtesy and respect and is sensitive to all their situations.

Nancy enjoys spending her free time with her husband, family and friends. She loves music, shopping and all kinds of cuisine. 

Besides being responsible for office maintenance at Bergman Law Group, her duties include client contact, scheduling, documents filing preparation, providing updated documents/information to our clients and a variety of other important duties. Ms. Lopez is fluent in Spanish. She has gained much of her Paralegal experience within the time frame she has been with Bergman Law Group. She enjoys working with this loyal and respectful law firm.
